I had a video call interview that combined behavioral questions with an easy coding question, and then I did a separate recruiter call for about 30 minutes.

After that, I was invited to a final onsite that ran roughly five to six hours.

The onsite itself included three technical rounds and three behavioral rounds. Even with that intensity, I had a good time talking with people who worked at Etsy, and the culture felt refreshing compared to what I’d seen elsewhere. I also appreciated the way the rounds were structured as full conversations rather than just a rapid sequence of prompts.

I wasn’t sure how the decision would land, but I got the result fairly quickly—within a week. I didn’t end up taking the job, but I left with a strong positive
