After a short phone screen with an engineer—this part included a bit of pair-style coding and some basic questions about why I was looking and what I hoped to find—I moved into a full day onsite in New York.

That day ended up being very structured: five separate interview sections with three technical parts (including two coding sessions), one conversation with a PM and designer focused on how I think and collaborate, and a separate lunch-format discussion that leaned interpersonal and behavioral.

The tone overall was approachable, and I felt like the teams wanted to understand how I work, not just whether I could grind through puzzles. I remember the engineering portion moving through coding/whiteboard-style questions and then getting progressively more demanding depending on the interviewer.
