Etsy Software Engineer interview experience

We started with my background, then shifted into a coding exercise. The conversation felt smooth and I walked away thinking it went well. I was told I’d hear back in about a week.

A week passed and then more time went by with no update at all. I remember thinking it was odd because I’d never seen a company just go silent after an interview. Looking back, it felt like something procedural must’ve gone wrong on their side rather than anything clearly negative I’d done.
