Esri Software Engineer interview experience

I did several virtual interviews, with individual sessions typically in the 30 to 60 minute range, and the whole sequence felt thorough without ever becoming adversarial. The later conversations included panels where I met multiple people across different roles, and the topics stayed tied to the job rather than random trivia.

On the early calls, I talked through my background and got asked situational questions that leaned more behavioral than anything else. As it moved toward the team interviews, the difficulty felt average—enough technical detail to matter, but framed like a discussion.
