This interview happened online and started with the usual software and programming questions, but it quickly widened beyond that.

I got pulled into networking topics too, including questions tied to 5G, which caught me a bit off guard because I hadn’t expected the emphasis to go there. They also asked something about agile, so I had to shift from pure coding thinking to process and methodology.

Overall it felt like a tougher, more technical conversation than I was used to, and the difficulty level reflected that. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and I was left with the sense that the screening was really hunting for breadth across programming plus networking concepts.
