I went through a pretty tough, requirements-driven interview.

After the initial stage, the questions started with some fundamentals in Java, then quickly shifted into harder material. What stood out to me was the emphasis on concurrent Java programming and newer language or platform features.

Overall it felt like the process was built to test depth in specific areas rather than general software knowledge. I came away thinking the bar was high, and while I tried to stay focused on the technical details they cared about, I didn’t end up getting an offer.
