EPAM Systems Data Engineer interview experience

The way my interviews were organized surprised me—in a good way.

The technical round(s) were followed by a Project Manager or Solution Architect style conversation, and then there was an HR or offer discussion afterward.

I mainly walked into it expecting difficult technical evaluation, but the structure made the experience feel coordinated: the technical part came first to assess capability, then the senior stakeholder conversation to round out the fit, and finally the HR/offering discussion to close the loop.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the overall tone was friendly and professional, and the sequence felt like it was designed rather than improvised.
