EPAM Systems Software Engineer interview experience

I didn’t really get the chance to lean on theory; even areas that normally might be treated as lighter, like CSS, were treated like something you had to write rather than discuss.

By the second round, it became even more about coding practices as the main differentiator, and the standard they held felt very high. The pace and focus meant there wasn’t much room to recover if something small went wrong early.

I didn’t get an offer, and while I appreciated that they were consistent about evaluating through execution, it also made the experience feel brutally demanding overall.
