I went through a difficult interview centered on DevOps and cloud tooling, covering a wide span of infrastructure concepts.

Technical interview: DevOps & cloud — I was questioned on Docker/containerization, Kubernetes concepts (including managed clusters), Terraform/IaC, and CI/CD pipelines across common tools; it also included AWS/Azure/GCP networking fundamentals like VPC and load balancers.
Scripting + system operations — Linux commands, shell scripting, and automation-focused scripting with a general-purpose language. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that the role expected broad, practical fluency across DevOps tooling and cloud networking.
