I went through a sequence of both technical and non-technical interviews that felt geared toward programming problem solving, SQL querying, and Apache Spark.

On top of that, they evaluated communication and logical reasoning, and they also tested how I thought about system understanding and handling real-world data engineering challenges.

The difficulty was on the higher side because it wasn’t just coding—it included broader reasoning and practical data work scenarios. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the experience clearly mapped to a role that expects a full stack of data engineering skills.
