I interviewed for a senior Java full-stack Software Engineer role with a difficult, fast-paced technical process that stretched longer than scheduled.

Technical round #1 (moderate level) — Java and topics like microservices, threads, and MySQL; I solved two problems but couldn’t optimize efficiency and had minor syntax issues.
Technical round #2 (~2h 5m) — a rapid sequence of backend-to-frontend questions, roughly dozens of Q&A in the extended time.
Follow-up coding task — write a REST endpoint with validation and design an entity with interface relations. Outcome: No offer; I did well overall but had some gaps in the second-round coding.
