Endava Software Engineer interview experience

The first technical round covered programming and also dug into fundamentals, while the managerial conversation was mostly resume-based. That second round felt like a discussion about how I’d built and worked through past projects, and it pulled in some of the more specific areas I had listed—advanced Java, plus things like generative AI concepts such as RAG, vector databases, and embeddings.

The tone stayed pretty collaborative rather than exam-like. Instead of just grilling me for answers, the interviewers seemed interested in how I reasoned and communicated while working through problems.
