I pursued a Software Engineer role at Ellucian with a short path from application to a basic technical/behavioral conversation, mostly described as easy-to-average.

Online preliminary step + developer interview (behavioral) — I first completed an online test with SAT-like pattern questions (e.g., counting occurrences of a letter), then interviewed with a developer for basic behavioral questions.
Recruiter webcam interview (mixed) — about a week after applying, I scheduled a 30–45 minute webcam interview that mixed general questions with technical topics; the interviewer was easy to talk to. Outcome: I did not receive an offer, but both stages felt approachable and not overly difficult.
