I went through a route that leaned heavily on written assessments, and I felt the screening was more about passing paper tests than demonstrating deeper technical problem solving.

Written test (paper/online written focus) — I was given a written test with a mix of programming tasks and many objective/theoretical questions (including SOLID concepts in one experience).
Second written/technical filtering — In another attempt, I was invited and given technical written questions and then sent away for the day, which felt like a bulk screening.
Technical interview + HR — Some flows completed the process in a single day: written rounds, then a technical discussion, followed by an HR round. Outcome: No offer; I didn’t move forward after written hurdles
