Fairfax, VAPosted Oct 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied for a Software Engineer position at Ellucian and went through an online logic test followed by a light phone interview over the course of about two to three weeks.

Online assessment — a moderately difficult logic test with spatial reasoning-style questions and word-problem ordering questions; it also included more abstract, programming-adjacent “machine-like” questions.
Phone interview — a basic conversation covering why I wanted the job and why I was interested in Ellucian. Outcome: I wasn’t offered a role, but I did reach the interview stage after the test.
