I interviewed for a Financial Analyst role at Edward Jones with a focus that felt more conversational and behavioral than technical, centered on learning how I work with people.

Hiring team / behavioral interviews — I went through multiple rounds of in-depth conversations emphasizing how I handle other people and client relationship situations.
Structured behavioral + CRM questions — I answered a range of STAR-style behavioral prompts and questions tied to client relationship management (including how I think about CRM).

Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and my takeaway was that this stage is about demonstrating judgment, communication, and relationship management rather than technical coursework.
