My interview process felt pretty structured around the skills they expected for the job, and it also seemed tied to how well I would fit their culture.

I remember getting tested on a mix of core technologies rather than only one narrow stack—things like XML, Java, JSP, and SQL.

What stood out to me was the breadth. It was clear that depending on the project, someone in that role might end up needing to work across one or several of those areas, so the process didn’t feel like it was pretending the role would be limited to just one thing. Overall, I felt like the interview was focused on verifying my knowledge across those topics.
