I went through an interview process that centered heavily on recorded video questions.

I just didn’t like the format—there was a sense of being treated like a submission rather than a conversation.

The content itself was framed around qualifications and what I knew about areas like big data, but the experience felt cold and overly efficient in a way that came off as dismissive. I ended up declining the vibe more than the questions, and it contributed to me walking away without an offer. Looking back, the mechanics were straightforward, but the overall feeling was hard to shake.
