Chicago, ILPosted Jun 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied for a Software Engineer role and went through a classic medium-difficulty pipeline over a few days, ending with an on-site that led to an offer.

Online assessment — I answered four medium questions in about two hours.
Phone interview — I covered my background, did behavioral questions, and answered a few basic technical questions.
Onsite: live coding + interviews — on the first day I did live coding; on the second day I had three interviews mixing behavioral and technical questions, with difficulty ranging from medium to medium-hard. Outcome: I received an offer about a week after interviewing; the process felt structured and fair, with clear progression from screening to on-site evaluation.
