Boston, MAPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My Dropbox process felt unusually automated and cold.

I applied online, got an invite link to complete a CodeSignal assessment shortly after, and then received a rejection later without ever speaking to anyone from the company. No human conversation came in between the assessment and the decision.

Because I never had a chance to clarify anything or show context beyond the coding test, the outcome just landed as “not worth the time,” and honestly that’s what stuck with me. It made the process feel like they weren’t interested in taking any time to evaluate me as a person, only as an output from a tool.
