The interview focused on getting to know me as a person, not just reviewing my work history.

They asked about my experience in retail stores and also wanted to understand my availability—specifically the hours I could work and when I could come in.

It felt like they were trying to match my background and schedule to what the role needed day to day. I remember walking away feeling that the main things I’d been judged on were fit and reliability, since the conversation stayed centered on retail experience and my working hours rather than anything overly technical or abstract.
