Dover Corporation Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer seemed relaxed and cool, and the whole conversation lasted about half an hour.

Most of the questions ended up being connected to my resume. It felt like they were trying to understand my background and how I talked about what I’d done rather than throwing lots of hard technical theory at me.

Even though the overall difficulty was marked difficult, the session itself felt more conversational than stressful. I didn’t get an offer, but the experience mainly left me thinking that resume story and personal context mattered a lot in how the conversation was steered.
