My process started with a recruiter call, and then I went straight into a technical interview.

The technical screen was an hour long and focused on a LeetCode-style binary tree problem with an engineer.

I’d call the difficulty average, but I didn’t perform well on the question. Even though the setup was straightforward, the outcome just didn’t go my way—I didn’t progress further. What stuck with me most was how quickly the format moved from recruiter to the technical and how unforgiving a single LeetCode-style problem can feel.
