My interview felt easy compared to how long some other loops can run.

The technical interviewer was on-time, ready, and engaging, and the questions were similar to things you can find online. I answered everything I was asked, and I walked out feeling like I did well.

Even so, I received a rejection. What made it extra frustrating was that I also experienced the process as being driven more by other factors than just performance—especially at the end, where the final loop felt unprofessional and poorly coordinated. The hiring manager repeatedly used profanity and the overall vibe was arrogant.

In both parts of that experience, I didn’t end up with an offer.
