I interviewed for a QA/testing-oriented path that focused on testing concepts rather than software coding, covering multiple testing types and principles.

Concept/knowledge interview — introduced myself and then discussed differences between test types and test levels.
Testing methodology questions — alpha vs beta testing, and load vs stress testing.
Role motivation + fundamentals — why I wanted to be a tester, plus differences between functional and non-functional testing. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that core QA theory dominated the interview.
