San Francisco, CAPosted May 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Recruiter outreach kicked things off, and after an initial call to align on expectations and role details, I moved into a separate technical conversation.

The technical interviewer asked about my technical background, and most of the questions dug into software engineering and CS concepts rather than just reading a problem off a screen.

That round felt like it was testing whether I could connect my experience to core fundamentals and explain them clearly. I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the experience didn’t feel chaotic or adversarial—it just felt like a straightforward filter on depth and clarity.
