Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Discord Software Engineer with a medium five-round sequence mixing project work, LeetCode, debugging, and system design.

Project dive — I spent about 45 minutes deep-diving into a project.
LeetCode-style questions — I solved one hour of LeetCode questions.
Debugging C++ — I fixed issues in existing C++ code.
System design with research — I handled system design work where I was asked to consult Google documentation for browser-related details.
Onsite in-person — I completed an onsite interview with additional in-person questions. Outcome: No offer result was recorded; the journey was broad, with multiple technical formats in the same day/sequence.
