My process started with a recruiter phone interview—just a quick intro where the person said he’d be my point of contact for questions and the usual logistics.

After that, I took a HackerRank test. It felt pretty standard so far, but the communication afterwards was what stuck with me.

The interviewer promised to call me multiple days in a row, including an apology for not getting to it immediately. I held out hope day after day, waiting for the follow-up. Eventually the calls just stopped, and I got ghosted. I never reached a clear “next step” or closure, so the experience ended on a sour note even though the earlier parts were straightforward.
