Southfield, MIPosted Aug 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for the Software Engineer role with a straightforward process: initial phone screening, then on-site conversations with engineers and a facility tour, and the overall tone stayed friendly.

Engineer-led phone/initial screen — I had a phone interview where we went over my background and experience areas relevant to the role.
On-site technical conversation — I then met engineers in person; the questions were clear and the discussion focused on my prior experience, including HMI/Qt/software engineering (in one version) and general fit (in another).
Facility tour — I was taken on a tour as part of the on-site day. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, but the experience felt smooth and typical, with no major surprises.
