Southfield, MIPosted Apr 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a short, low-pressure process for a Software Engineer role, with a timeline of about two weeks.

HR scheduling / onsite — A fast face-to-face interview with two engineering managers (a hiring manager and a coworker). The conversation was mostly generic behavioral-style questions with minimal technical depth, and I wasn’t asked to do a campus tour.
HR follow-up — Two days after the interview, HR contacted me to extend an offer and I started the next week. Outcome: I was offered the role, and the main takeaway was that the process leaned heavily on communication and fit over deep technical testing.
