Atlanta, GAPosted Jul 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The setup I experienced involved two engineers interviews that felt similar in structure to other interview processes, and then it wrapped with a couple of technical questions drawn from a pool.

During the technical portion, I got a question tied to seating—specifically around seat pitch—and I had to explain what I would do to add another row of seats without changing certain aspects of the seat design.

Because the question was scenario-based and tied to real constraints, it pushed me to think through tradeoffs rather than just give a general coding answer. The engineers stayed focused and the process fit together cleanly.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the part that stuck with me most was how the technical question tested applied reasoning about physical constraints.
