I interviewed for a Software Engineer role and while the round count was small, the process felt drawn-out because of compensation and scheduling back-and-forth.

Round 1 (phone call) — I discussed role fit and then moved into compensation discussions.
Round 2 (phone call) — We continued negotiating details with additional back-and-forth.
Round 3 (sit-down / final touchpoint) — I confirmed compensation and logistics; once settled, I was given time to start.
Outcome: I didn’t provide an explicit offer outcome, but the takeaway was that the main friction was schedule and compensation alignment.
