Fort Worth, TXPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Dell Software Engineer-related internship role and the conversation started warm and informative, then shifted to a no at the end with a suggestion for another position.

Intro / recruiter-style check — the interviewer was very kind, asked internship logistics first, and explained details about what the internship would involve.
Technical validation (minimal detail given) — the interview continued, but the specific technical content wasn’t clearly described. Outcome: I wasn’t considered a good fit for that specific position near the end, but the interviewer recommended another role—takeaway: leverage the positive relationship to redirect into roles that match your profile.
