I interviewed for a Software Engineer role using an in-person three-round structure that blended coding with Java/Spring and a deep dive into how I think about production and teams.

Coding + technical questions — Two coding problems, then questions on Java Spring Boot and microservices.
Managerial round — We discussed company projects, how I think about software development, production scenarios, and teamwork.
Culture-fit round — I answered questions about myself, who they are, and whether I’m improving as a person. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that explaining production reasoning and collaboration skills mattered alongside coding.
