Dell Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

RomaniaPosted Jun 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role and found the process generally easy-to-manage technically, though experiences differed in professionalism.

HR / recruiter discussion — a free-form conversation about my background with some core CS concepts, then an easy LeetCode-style question at the end.
Assessment / interview follow-up — focused on practical fundamentals (including database notions) before wrapping up with a simpler coding prompt. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; one part of the process felt routine, but the overall experience left a negative impression of organization and interview quality.
