I interviewed for a Dell Software Engineer role that felt very easy, with a short set of lightweight technical prompts mixed with broader discussion.

Technical round — I was asked about one DSA topic (string-focused), and the questions leaned toward general knowledge rather than hard coding under pressure.
Managerial / architecture-style discussion — I covered internal company/software architecture details and talked through approach and managerial expectations.
Behavioral / system design “what-if” — I also had scenario-style questions and system-design-ish thinking rather than a deep algorithmic gauntlet. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that even when rounds are easy, clarity and consistency
