DEKA Research & Development Software Engineer interview experience

I had an interview that leaned heavily into technical conceptual questions, and it included a single whiteboard coding problem. C++ and object-oriented programming were clearly the center of gravity, and the whole thing stayed at that level rather than turning into a long gauntlet of separate assessments.

I didn’t spend weeks chasing updates. The turnaround from interview to offer was quick, and the experience ended with an offer. I walked away feeling like the questions were aligned with what they were hiring for, which made the whole process less stressful than it could’ve been.
