My second-round call was immediately off in a way that stuck with me.

The interviewers didn’t turn on their cameras during what was supposed to be a Zoom interview, and they came across as dismissive toward my experiences and qualifications.

When I tried to engage on topics from my background, they were closed off and didn’t really offer much context or insight. The lack of engagement made the whole conversation feel more like a check-the-box session than a real discussion.

I left feeling like they weren’t interested in understanding me, and I didn’t move forward to an offer. The strangest part was how early the disconnect showed up and how little it improved
