Datadog Software Engineer interview experience

The project portion required me to talk about something I’d worked on and where I’d had a major impact, and then we followed with behavioral questions.

After that, there was a team-matching step where managers walked through their teams and projects and I chose what I wanted to explore more. I remember the interviews leaning into clarity and communication: even the coding portion included follow-ups about time complexity, and I was treated kindly when I made mistakes.
