My recruiter chat set the tone—mostly role and expectations—then I moved into behavioral conversations with managers at the location I was applying to.

The process was fairly direct until a point where it turned technical: if everything checked out, I was sent a HackerRank assignment and given five days to complete.

That take-home covered three concrete problems: SQL, bash, and implementing the Datadog Agent in a VM.
