My first step was a short recruiter screening—around twenty minutes—where we covered the basics like telling my story, what role I was looking for, and how my prior internship work connected to the kind of job I wanted.

The recruiter kept it conversational and then moved me along to a longer technical interview.

That technical stage was a live coding interview with an engineer and it ended up being the main gate. In my process, there wasn’t an extended onsite loop—there was also an OA-style assessment step before the live rounds, where I saw more SQL/problem-solving questions than I expected. Overall, the process felt like it moved quickly compared to longer pipelines, but I found the difficulty to be a real step up once the assessments started.

After that, I didn’t make it through to the later rounds.
