Databricks Software Engineer interview experience

After that, I made it to an onsite with four parts—one coding session, one algorithms interview, one system design round, and finally a hiring-manager interview.

The overall process felt solid even though there was a snag: one of my interviewers showed up about ten minutes late. Everything else felt organized enough that I could stay focused during the onsite blocks, even with that disruption.

I didn’t get an offer. My honest takeaway was that the structure looked straightforward on paper, but small things like timing issues still add stress, especially across multiple back-to-back rounds.
