My schedule was set for 11 a.m., but the first round didn’t actually start until 4 p.m, and the second round only began around 6 p.m, running for about an hour and a half.

The interviewer seemed confused and tired, and it affected the quality of the discussion.

During the Java developer interview, the interviewer wasn’t confident about answers and kept steering things toward what he wanted to hear rather than what I was actually saying. By the end, he mentioned switching to Node.js, which honestly disappointed me because it didn’t feel aligned with what I had shown up to interview for.

Even though the experience wasn’t what I expected, I still walked away without an offer. The delays and the interviewer’s uncertainty were the main reasons the process felt
