My process started normally enough with an initial recruiter call, then I moved into a set of interview rounds with hiring managers and ended with a presentation.

The day had that high-effort feel—multiple steps, and the presentation was one of the heavier moments because it came at the end rather than being a quick formality.

What really weighed on me was the follow-through. After the final conversation, I didn’t receive clear closure, and I ended up waiting without a yes or no. When I reached out to the recruiter later, I didn’t get a response either, and I finally had to involve support to understand what was going on. In another point along that same timeline, I was also disappointed by how long it took to get any message after the hiring manager
