Cvent Software Engineer interview experience

Each round had an elimination feel to it, so I never relaxed between steps.

Across the technical rounds, I was asked about Java concepts, problem-solving, and design patterns. That combination made it feel like they were testing both implementation details and how well I could think through reusable design.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even though the rounds were fairly direct, the overall structure made it hard to tell whether one mistake was enough to end the process.
