Cvent Backend Engineer interview experience

The conversation started with generic work-experience questions and then shifted into something that felt poorly managed and unprofessional. After the call, there was no structured follow-up—no formal feedback, no clear next steps, and no communication cadence.

Because of how it ended, I didn’t progress to further rounds. The overall feel was frustrating mainly because the lack of communication made it hard to understand where things stood, even after spending time in the call.
