After a recruiter-style start, I ended up speaking with the area manager who handled the interview like an actual conversation.

He was really friendly, and he took the edge off my nerves by laying everything out before we got into questions—both about the company and what the role would involve.

Once we moved into the interview portion, it stayed conversational rather than formal. I didn’t feel like I was being tested so much as getting a clear, two-way discussion.

Overall, it didn’t feel difficult at all because the tone was so supportive from the start. My honest reflection was that the structure mattered—having the context upfront made it easier for me to focus and respond naturally.
