Credit Karma Software Engineer interview experience

MediumSan Francisco, CAPosted Jun 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I was surprised that the recruiter didn’t provide the names of my interviewers.

On the day of the interview, I met with the recruiter and was told I’d be in the office for a couple of hours. Instead, my first one-hour interview with two engineers went relatively smoothly, and then the recruiter came back in and told me the interview was over.

That abrupt cutoff was the biggest shock—I felt like they made a hiring decision only minutes after my first round and didn’t let me finish the rest of what had been scheduled. I left feeling confused rather than confident, because the process didn’t match the time they had implied.
