San Francisco, CAPosted Jun 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The recruiter gave me a tour of the office first, including details about amenities like the yoga room, shower, snacks, and a barista.

After that, the interviews happened in a meeting room with a whiteboard. I met with two engineers where the discussion focused on algorithm and design questions.

Then I met with a senior manager who asked more algorithm questions, database questions, and questions tied to object-oriented programming. The final meeting was with the head of engineering, and that was more conversational—mostly about answering my questions and addressing concerns I had about the company. Overall, it felt like a well-rounded set of conversations rather than a single narrow technical test.
