Coursera Software Engineer interview experience

The set felt like it had a couple of Big-O multiple-choice questions plus a smaller coding problem that was somewhere between easy and medium. My recruiter was responsive and flexible when I had to reschedule because of COVID and then again when I ran into internet issues during the assessment.

Even though I prepared hard for specific topics that people kept mentioning—particularly wildcard/regex style questions—the actual technical portion didn’t follow that pattern. Instead, it was more like a custom data-structure design problem where I had to implement methods for something course-like.
